| Customer Reviews: Good Brand July 1, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a massage therapist I've used this brand of product and have been very happy with the results. I've used both a lotion and a cream from Biotone with great success. I tend to prefer the cream when I work since it goes on easily, acts more like an oil while in use, but absorbs like a lotion afterwards so it's less messy than oil.
Must Have July 23, 2008 Devon L. Nelson (Goose Creek, SC, USA) Clients say it feels like I'm using silk on their skin, it lasts for the massage and soaks in nicely so they don't leave feeling oily. It is easy to use for any type of pressure and massage. My absolute must have for work! ~LMT.
Great cream, the best I've found. Egregeously EXPENSIVE. November 4, 2004 Jon Howard (Hedgesville, WV USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use Biotone Dual-Purpose massage cream. It works better than every oil I have used. It deserves 5 stars for performance. It doesn't stain my sheets, no rancid sheet smell and the client's clothes don't stick to them after a massage like can happen with oil. None of my clients have ever had a negative or allergic reaction to it. It smells benign enough that a person can get a massage and return to work without worrying if they smell like pine or clove. (Though if your client wishes, the cream can be scented with essential oils.) But, the price of this product is outrageous. Thus the 3 star review. I don't know many massage therapists who are wealthy due to their work. So, spending nearly a dollar for cream each time you do a massage (more if the client is hairy) takes a huge percentage off the bottom line. I even buy it by the gallon to save money but it still hurts the bottom line.
